An Airplane Ride of Sorts!

Jay recently took Emry and Ayden to the Truckee Airport to watch planes and this wonderful man offered to give the children a tour of his plane and then let them ride along as he taxied to his hangar--what a treat.







It wasn't until after the children were loaded in the plane and the man was taxing away with them that Jay thought to himself "I hope he doesn't take off with them. "The man" though is Tom Meadows and he lives right in our neighborhood and is involved in a local flight program that gives free airplane rides to kids to get them interested in the field.










I really don't know who was happier, Ayden or Emry, but it is clear they both loved it.
